Japanese car giant Honda on Wednesday launched its much-awaited hatchback Jazz in India, priced between Rs 698,000 and Rs 733,000.
Honda has finally made its entrance into the country's competitive compact car segment, with the launch of the Honda Jazz. In Mumbai, Jazz standard will cost Rs 7.43 lakh (Rs 743,000), Jazz Mode Rs 773,000 (Rs 773,000) and Jazz Active Rs 778,000 (Rs 778,000).
The car will launch next financial year in India.

The vehicle was launched in India in 2009 with a hefty price tag of over Rs 700,000 which was slashed by Rs 160,000 later.
Built on the same platform as the new Honda City, Honda Jazz is modern and pleasing. The styling is not really revolutionary, but its razor-sharp edges give it a very modern look.
The two car companies have one of the most prominent hatchbacks in the premium segment namely, Maruti Swift and Honda Jazz.
The latest recall will impact models which were manufactured in 2013.
The revised prices will be effective from October 1, 2012.
Honda dealers stopped taking orders for Jazz. The company will, however, deliver pending orders.
The car will be based on the new Jazz.
Honda Siel Cars India said on Wednesday it was planning to launch two models in India, including its popular hatchback Jazz, to mark the company's foray into small car segment in the country.
